Piano Lessons in 2026 – Fee Structure and Cancellation Policy

Lesson Fees Toongabbie

  • $55 per half hour ($550 per Term) – Face-to-face lessons with Beata – principal teacher.
  • $46 per half hour ($460 per Term) – Face-to-face lessons with any other Harmony Studio teacher.
  • $70 per half hour ($700 per Term) – Shared face-to-face group lesson for two students (siblings, parent & child, or friends) with Beata or any studio teacher.
  • All payments are made per school term (10 or 9 weeks) and are due by bank transfer before the first lesson of each Term.
  • Lesson books must be purchased in addition to the lesson fees.

Make-Up Lessons

Each student is eligible for one make-up lesson per term, offered in one of three formats according to availability:
1. Face-to-face make-up lesson — offered when another student cancels during the term. The teacher will notify the next student in line waiting for a make-up opportunity. It will be offered for students of all ages.
2. Online makeup lesson — via FaceTime at a mutually suitable time. It will be offered for ages 7+ .
3. Asynchronous make-up lesson — for busy schedules when live scheduling isn’t possible. The student records their homework performance, and the teacher uses the allocated 30 minutes to assess, correct, and provide detailed feedback (either written or video) via WhatsApp or YouTube link. It will be offered for all ages.
To be eligible for a make-up lesson in any format, please notify Beata via SMS at least 24 hours in advance of any cancellation.
If your child is mildly unwell but able to have a lesson, an online lesson can be held at the regular lesson time. Please advise the teacher via sms as early as possible.
If the teacher needs to cancel, the lesson will always be rescheduled. The rescheduled lesson will be offered either face-to-face or online, depending on availability. Please note that no refunds are available for missed or canceled lessons.

  • $45 per half hour ($450 per Term) – Face-to-face lessons with Beata, principal teacher.
  • $40 per half hour ($400 per Term) – Face-to-face lessons with Mia
  • $60 per half hour ($600 per Term) – Shared face-to-face group lessons for two students (siblings, parent & child, or friends) with Beata or Mia
  • All payments are made per school term (10 or 9 weeks) and are due by bank transfer before the first lesson of each Term.
  • Lesson books must be purchased in addition to the lesson fees.
