Our teachers are passionate in teaching their instruments and hold music degrees. They are excellent musicians who perform in public regularly or at members of bands. We provide a comfortable and caring environment that fosters growth and learning.

Beata Eckerman, Piano Teacher

Beata Eckerman – Piano Teacher

Beata is an experienced and dedicated piano teacher with a Bachelor of Music, major in Piano Performance. She has been teaching and performing for more than 10 years. Her experience and expertise helped a number of students to achieve brilliant results in AMEB and HSC exams. She is an excellent educator and can coach you in performance situations. Her focus is in teaching piano technique alongside with music theory. She organizes yearly recitals for all her students to enable them to buid their sense of achievement and confidence and performance. Beata strongly believes that learning music is essential and extremely beneficial for growing Young children and can assist in learning other subjects at school.

Beata excels teaching younger kids using engaging story-telling techniques that accelerate learning in a fun yet effective environment.

Having learned herself from high-profile European teachers, Beata knows how to equip older students with effective techniques that are tailored and consistently achieve excellent AMEB exam results.

Yearly recitals provide the opportunity for all students to showcase their achievements and build up their confidence in performing.

Dr Heva Chan – Music Theory, Composition & Piano Teacher

Dr Heva Chan is an experienced piano teacher, music theory teacher and composer. Heva Chan was born in Hong Kong and had her first performance on piano at the age of four. Heva studied in Vienna, Austria and was awarded Austrian citizenship for her success in her field of music. During her studies, Heva had the chance to travel to 33 countries for research and performance, and was awarded numerous scholarships and prizes. For her distinguished talent in her field, she was also awarded her citizenship from the Australian government. Heva is a Composer, Performer, Musicologist and Music Educator. Her music has been performed in numerous concerts, international seminars, conferences and music festivals in Asia, Europe, America, Canada and Australia.

Heva offers composition classes for students interested in classical and popular music.

She is an experienced examiner in the higher education music industry and she has been a mentor for many music students who are studying different instruments in several schools around Sydney.
